Leaving the Catholic orphanage in Jerusalem where she was raised, eighteen-year-old Badia arrives at the home of her spinster aunts in Ramallah. Crossing the threshold, she finds a house, and three lives, frozen in time. The sisters are the last remnants of the bourgeois Christian minority that stayed on in the city after the war.
The toy workshop at Annahda Rehabilitation Center is designed to be a productive workshop to give opportunities of training and employment for adults living with disabilities, and to provide the local community with needed wooden toys and furniture that is used in nurseries, kindergartens, schools and centers.

Ayyam Zaman’s Scout group was established in 2008 and registered at Palestinian Boy Scouts & Girls Guides Association in 2009. Starting with 25 boys and girls, its members now total 120.
The nursing home for the elderly in Ramallah was in desperate need of significant renovation. Faulty pipes leaked, flooding contaminated waste water throughout the building and the street. The Jerusalem Fund extended a grant to undertake the renovations, providing a safer and healthier environment for the nursing home’s residents and neighboring community.
The Ayam Zaman Center, based in a village outside of Ramallah, provides social and cultural activities for youth in the region.
Through educational events, humanitarian support, and cultural preservation, the Jerusalem Fund is helping build the movement for Palestinian liberation.
