Past Exhibit: Photographer Amr Mounib has deep roots in Egypt and in film, extending back to the first silent films produced in Egypt by his grandfather, Fawzi Mounib.  In this, his first solo exhibition at the Jerusalem Fund Gallery Al–Quds he combines painting, collage photography and a touch of surrealism to produce images of an Egypt that lies in his heart.

Nut Over Tahrir

Mona El-Bayoumi is an Egyptian-American artist residing in Washington D.C.  She was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1962 and moved to the United States as a young child. Growing up in East Lansing, Michigan, in the 1970’s, El-Bayoumi was exposed to many human rights struggles around the world.
