The Jerusalem Fund is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Edmund Ghareeb as Senior Scholar. “We have collaborated on projects with Dr. Ghareeb for many years,” said Dr. Subhi Ali, chair of The Jerusalem Fund’s Board of Advisors, “and now we are happy to welcome him to join us in a scholarly capacity.”
WASHINGTON, D.C. (6 July 2015) – The Jerusalem Fund for Education and Community Development is saddened by the loss of Dr. Mujid S. Kazimi, Professor of Nuclear Engineering at MIT, one of the world’s foremost educators and researchers in nuclear technology, and one of the pillars of our community, who died suddenly on Wednesday in China. He suffered a heart attack while visiting Harbin Engineering University to participate in an international advisory committee.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (13 February 2015) – The Jerusalem Fund mourns the passing of Dr. Naseer Aruri, a former board member and Palestine Center Advisor. Chancellor Professor of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and internationally recognized Middle East expert, Dr. Aruri died Tuesday, February 10, at the age of 81 from complications related to Parkinson’s disease.
