A Life Between Scholarship and Resistance: Reflections on Edward Said’s Enduring Legacy – A Conversation with Prof. Wadie E. Said

UPDATE:
The Edward Said Memorial Lecture will continue as scheduled, via Zoom only. Twenty years since his passing, we still ask ourselves how Edward Said would lead the conversation on the latest challenges facing the Palestinian people. This week, many of us have repeated words to this effect.
We can think of no better time to have Professor Wadie E. Said, who will speak about two very important issues. The first, his father’s legacy and how it is just as relevant today. The second, Prof. Said will share his reflections as a legal scholar on the chilling effect on Palestine activism that has reached its peak in recent days.
