Mariam Barghouti, Senior Palestine Correspondent
Mariam Barghouti is the Senior Palestine correspondent for Mondoweiss and her coverage particularly focuses on the rise of armed resistance in the West Bank and the intensification of settler annexation. She has worked in media and journalism in the Levant for more than ten years and her commentary has appeared on CNN, the New York Times, BBC, Guardian, the Intercept and Al-Jazeera English. Previously, she worked as a political analyst and monitoring and evaluation consultant with non-governmental and governmental organizations, with a focus on the dynamics of humanitarian aid and advocacy.
Tareq S. Hajjaj, Gaza Correspondent
Tareq Hajjaj is a member of the Palestinian Writers Union and the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate. In 2015, after a devastating war in Gaza, Tareq started his career in journalism as he felt that the world must hear the painful stories of the Israeli occupation and attacks on Gaza.
Yumna Patel, Palestine News Director
Yumna Patel is an American journalist based in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, where she has lived and reported for seven years. Yumna is the Palestine News Director at Mondoweiss. Her video and written work focuses on reporting the everyday realities of Palestinians living under Israeli occupation and apartheid that are not readily available in the mainstream or Western media.
