Join us for an intimate, hands-on introduction to tatreez- traditional Palestinian embroidery that has been passed down through generations.
In this workshop, you’ll learn the foundational stitches, explore the history and cultural significance behind the motifs, and begin creating your own piece to take home.
Whether you’ve never picked up a needle or you’re looking to reconnect with your roots in a new way, this space is designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and deeply meaningful.
We’ll move at a pace that allows for conversation, reflection, and community-building, because tatreez has always been more than just embroidery; it’s about gathering, sharing, and preserving stories together.
What’s included:
- A curated tatreez kit (fabric, thread, needle, and pattern)
- Step-by-step guidance
- Cultural and historical context
- A space to connect with others
No prior experience needed! Just come as you are.
