Fadi Kafeety named The Jerusalem Fund and Palestine Center Executive Director 

The Jerusalem Fund Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Fadi Kafeety as Executive Director of The Fund and its educational program, the Palestine Center. Fadi’s appointment to The Jerusalem Fund became official on January 06, 2025. 

Fadi Kafeety is a Palestinian scholar completing his PhD in Modern Arab History at the University of Houston. Fadi earned his MA in Middle Eastern Studies at the Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY), and his BA in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies at New York University. 

“I am honored to be joining an incredibly committed Board and highly dedicated team that works to increase awareness of Palestine’s past, present, and future through vibrant educational programming, expansive humanitarian support, and rich cultural preservation,” Kafeety said. 

Prior to joining The Jerusalem Fund, Fadi served as the inaugural Assistant Director at the University of Houston’s Arab-American Educational Foundation Center for Arab Studies from 2020-2024 before briefly joining the Council of American Overseas Research Centers as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at the American Center of Research in Jordan.
