The Jerusalem Fund announces the resignation of its Executive Director, Jehad Abusalim, effective June 15, 2024. Mr. Abusalim joined the organization shortly before the outbreak of Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza. During his tenure, he and The Jerusalem Fund and Palestine Center team, worked diligently to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis affecting Palestinians in Gaza and the rest of Palestine.
Citing the need to prioritize his family as they navigate the challenges of displacement following the war, Mr. Abusalim has stepped down. The Board of Directors and staff at The Jerusalem Fund express their sincere gratitude for his contributions during this critical time. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and share his hope for an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza and throughout the region.
