Role Overview: As the Program & Communications Manager, you will lead and manage our programs and events, ensuring their successful execution and promotion. Your role includes program development, event coordination, and managing our digital communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize, and oversee programs and activities.
- Propose ideas for programs and events, in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of projects and events.
- Innovate and propose new initiatives to support our mission.
- Handle our internship program, including coordination and follow-up.
- Prepare detailed reports and manage event logistics.
- Design and manage content for our website and social media platforms.
- Analyze digital engagement and produce media activity reports.
- Manage organizational email communications and provide administrative support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Communications/Journalism, International Relations/Political Science, Graphic Design/Multimedia Arts, Middle Eastern Studies.)
- 2+ years of experience in program management and communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HTML, WordPress, and social media platforms.
- Experience in event coordination and publication design (e.g., Adobe Suite).
- Strong knowledge of the Palestine issue and the region.
- Experience working with and leading a team of interns.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high-quality standards.
- Consistency in delivering coherent and visually appealing communications.
- Experience with design tools like Canva is preferred.
