(Aug. 30) “Resistance Climbing” – Film Screening and Discussion

Join us for a screening of the film “Resistance Climbing,” which follows a diverse crew of Palestinian youth as they discover the joy of rock climbing, and embrace it as a source of much-needed respite from the oppression of the Israeli occupation. In the film, American writer and climber Andrew Bisharat visits the West Bank to explore his own roots and the power of climbing to transform lives.

After the screening, we will hold a discussion with one of the film’s producers and one of its subjects, Tim Bruns, to tell us more about the making of this film and the project’s significance.

RSVP now to attend in-person!

When: Wednesday, August 30 @ 6pm ET

Where: The Jerusalem Fund (2425 Virginia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20037)
